I am a self-taught fine art photographer living and working in Monterey, California. At an early age, I demonstrated great interest in the arts. I started classical music lessons at the age of five followed by painting a few years later. It wasn’t until late 2006, however, that I turned to photography as a form of artistic expression. I am very committed to photography as art and always leave part of myself in every image I make. For me, every photograph is a self-portrait.
Notwithstanding my short photographic history, I have participated in gallery exhibitions at the Center for Fine Art Photography in Fort Collins, Colorado, the Center for Photographic Art and the Cherry Center for the Arts in Carmel, California and have received various awards from PX3 Prix de la Photographie, Monochrome Awards, the International Color Awards, B&W Magazine, including the Photographer of the Year award at the 12th annual edition of the Black and White Spider Awards.
