Independent researcher, anthropologist and writer, amateur photographer, textile art and crafts and the cultivation of plant fibers.
Lived among Tibetan refugees in India and Nepal for about 12 yrs (1979 - 1990). Did fieldwork and research publications on education for Tibetan refugees and Tibetan nomads in Tibet with extensive travelling in Tibet 2004 – 2007. Worked as a tour guide in Tibet, China, India and Nepal 2007-2019. Research on cultivation of nettle and hemp fibers with fieldwork in Nepal 1979 and 2010.
