Originally from Canada, Erin Quinn moved to Dublin, Ireland in 1998. Quinn graduated from the National College of Art and Design in 2009 with a first class honours in Photography and Digital Imaging. She had her first solo show in 2010 and has exhibited nationally and internationally since. Most recently her piece “Adam” from her Breaking Point series was shortlisted for the Hennessy Portrait Prize in the National Gallery of Ireland and has been on display there from 8 November 2014 until 8 February 2015 Erin was an invited artist to the 181st Royal Hibernian Academy’s Annual Exhibition where she was awarded the prestigious Curtin O’Donoghue Photography Prize for “Emma” . Some of her recent shows include Foundation 14 Arts Festival, Tullamore Ireland, Secrets and Lies in Cambridge University and Photoville in New York 2014.
