I am a retired US Army veteran working in Iraq and Kuwait as a military contractor. In 2022, I was awarded my Master's in Photography from the Academy of Art University (AAU) in San Francisco, California. After my return from the Middle East, I plan to return to the AAU to finish my Master of Fine Arts. I currently focus on social documentary and portrait photography, but, I also enjoy street photography. I primarily create works that I would like to see presented in a gallery setting in the future and my projects are centered on public awareness. My workflow is intended to keep each image true to what was present before me at the time of capture. I primarily use Lightroom, Photoshop, and Nik tools in my workflow to improve color and contrast without moving away from the content and form of the original image captured.
