The ultimate beauty of life is that of the mysterious, that which has no explanation. Captivated by the strangeness and secret order of nature, the contradiction of how some opposites must bond to exist, or the irrationality in human emotions, I seek for those unique encounters with wonder and surprise.
My work is closely related to the way poetry is written; creating new senses by combining incompatibles intuitively, where ambiguity accidentally becomes meaningful or reveals truth. My images insinuate, they do not explain; some come soft, others blow. In my projects tenderness is unified with violence, beauty with horror, and the romantic with the wild.
