About Gioia Kuss
My career is multi-disciplinary and focused on the wellbeing of the planet and its inhabitants. I recently received a small Vermont Council of the Arts Grant to launch a photography business that will mesh well with my work as a consultant. My goal is to communicate the importance of ecosystems coexisting with human communities, and use the power of visual media to show how each supports the other.
I have done commercial, editorial and photojournalism photography work for profit and non-profit businesses and other artists. In addition I will be pursuing independent artistic projects. I am most interested in telling the story that is important for the business, individual, or cause to the right audience. Journalistic pieces combine the written word with images to reach more people. My unique knowledge of business and agricultural practices combined with an understanding of fine arts and physical sciences helps me to ask the right questions of clients and frame images in a variety of styles. My eye helps capture the feel for a brand, a holistic view for a story, or document details with dynamic compositions.
