Although I have been working as a UX/UI designer in the IT industry so far, photography has taken over a significant part of my life at the same time through many years so I started to call myself a photographer especially passionate about street photography. Shooting on the street is my passion and this website is for my creative outlet.
I’m living in Seoul, South Korea and mainly take pictures of unstaged, unposed moments in public settings so as to create images that show my unique vision towards the banality of life. I don't really consider my photographs to be documentary or journalistic. They try to capture the visual poetry of human life which portrays humor, oddity, and sometimes surrealism. My name is Youngduk Ko and I never go out without my camera.
