Born (1970) and raised in Germany (near Berlin). Donna Lupa gained some international visibility in her life as a scientist and physician (under a pseudonym). Contra-intuitively, in her true life as a passionate artist and photographer she has hardly been noticed yet. Donna Lupa lives in a remote hamlet in the Swiss mountains, and this living at the edge of civilization strongly inspires her work. Her photography could be described as visual poetry of the moment. She does not search for images, she finds them.
