About INDRANIL BANERJEE

He is a passionate wildlife photographer and a photojournalist on insects and spiders. He prefers to create his own brand of documentary photography on insect & spider life which conveys an emotional connection with the small wonders of nature and explores new avenues to create awareness among people. He travels widely in the wildlife and wild places. He prefers to work majorly in remote areas, often choosing to work with a particular species. This is his innate desire to immerse myself completely into his subjects to capture moments for the photo story of their behaviour that have seldom been seen before, let alone photographed. His research and documentary articles on these small wonder lives have been published on many leading international wildlife magazines, scientific research papers and blogs. He is closely associated with international platform like Wild Planet, Sanctuary Asia and SAEVUS magazine. He discovered a rare spider Neobrettus for the first time from India.
