Ingmar Björn Nolting (1995) lives and works as a freelance documentary photographer in Dortmund, Germany. After finishing his A-levels, he volunteered to help the homeless and blind. Since then, Ingmar's photographic work has focused on social documentary issues, in which he sets his sights on people and their habitats, which have disappeared from the public eye.
In 2015 Ingmar received a one year German Scholarship, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. In 2016 he was one of the winners of the "German Youth Photo Prize". Ingmar was nominated for the "best documentary" and finalist for the “newcomer price” at the international Kolga Award. In March 2017, Ingmar was selected for the Nikon-NOOR workshop at C/O Berlin. He was shortlisted for the "Felix Schoeller Photo Award 2017" as "Best Emerging Photographer" and won the newcomer award of the "Vonovia Award for Photography 2017".
