Ingmar Björn Nolting (1995) lives and works as a freelance photographer in Leipzig, Germany. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Photography from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Dortmund where he is currently enrolled in the master's program „photographic studies“. His work focuses on long-term photo essays that, as seen in ‘Hinter Fassaden’ (2016-2019), ´The Dream of the Poets´ (2019-2020), ’Road of Kolyma’ (2020) and ’Measure and Middle’ (2020), deal with issues of social, geographical and geopolitical isolation.
He is a founding member of ’DOCKS Collective’ for humanist photography.
