I'm the proud daughter Mexican and Cuban immigrants. I discovered and cultivated my love of photography while I was a Peace Corps volunteer working in the Dominican Republic . At this time, I was inspired by the stories surrounding me, and a chance charitable photography calendar project kickstarted my passion. The first time I picked up a camera, it felt natural—it felt like I had finally found my talent.
