I am a photographer based in Monroe, Louisiana. My most recent long-term documentary project was an exploration of the ancient earthworks of northeastern Louisiana. It resulted in a photography exhibit as well as an LSU Press publication, “Poverty Point: Revealing the Forgotten City”, which I co-wrote with archaeologist, Diana Greenlee. The photographs from this series are currently at the Penn Museum in Philadelphia, PA until early 2020.
My photographs have been exhibited in the US and Canada and are in the permanent collections of the Masur Museum of Art in Monroe, Louisiana and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Texas. They have also been included in Lenswork magazine (2007 and 2010) as well as being published as a monograph (“Here is Home, Photographs of Northern Louisiana”) in 2007 by the Canadian firm of Scotia Waterous. I have also taught printing with the Ansel Adams Gallery Workshops.
