Julio Etchart grew up in Uruguay up before settling in Britain where he studied Documentary Photography at Newport Art College. He has covered events worldwide for the international press, as well as producing work for non - governmental organizations such as UNICEF, War on Want, OXFAM, Save the Children and the British Council.
Julio compliments his versatile photographic skills with short articles, interviews and multimedia slide shows and video for the web.
He is a First Prize recipient of a World Press Photo Award for his coverage of the environment and has had four photo-books published.
