Jimmy lee was born in 1993 in Hong Kong. He graduated from the department of Journalism and Mass Communication in Chu Hai College of Higher Education. He had worked in a local newspaper as a photographer during higher education. Later on, he received an award for Excellence in Feature Photography from The Society of Publishers in Asia. One of his projects Beyond the Current Practice discussing young couples having sex in public area was published as a photozine by brownie publishing. The concept was to showcase how young couples enjoyed intimacy in Hong Kong with an unaffordable rental housing. He started to work on a personal documentary project regarding environmental, economics and humanist issues in Western China last year. And currently he is studying Master of fine art in Photography in University for the creative arts.
