born 1967 in rheydt, germany. apprentice at the german photographer and artist Günter Schleder, Solingen.
When I saw the exhibition 50 years of magnum it was all about me. I really wanted to be a photographer. I do love portraits of people, food and like to capture stories in photographs and to let photographs tell stories. No, I don't like drawers or rules about what should and shouldn't look like. You don't want to eat pea soup every day either, do you? So I always try something new. I started as a stilllifer and love traveling. That's not a contradiction, is it?
