Josephine Sittenfeld received her BA summa cum laude from Princeton University in 2002 and her MFA in photography from RISD in 2008. Her photograph shave been published in a variety of print and online publications, including Cultured Magazine, Design Milk, Domus, Forbes Magazine, Huffington Post UK, Kirkus Review, Ladies Home Journal, The New Yorker, New York Times, People Magazine, Shondaland, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal and Women's Wear Daily. Her exhibition record includes the Albuquerque Museum, Museum of Fine Arts in Santa Fe, Princeton University Art Museum, Queens Museum, and the RISD Museum. She won a Rhode Island State Council for the Arts Fellowship Merit Award in photography in 2015. Sittenfeld has been teaching at RISD since 2008 and lives in Providence, Rhode Island.
