About Joshua Holman

I first picked up a camera with the intent to learn photography about 10 years ago. I dug out and dusted off an old Olympus DSLR I'd bought my wife almost 10 years prior to that.
Seeking mastery despite considerable growing pains and countless bad photographs, I set the camera to Manual and went to work.
I am a true fan of candid photography. The person isn't concerned with facial expression or pose. You get the chance to really see the person on the other side of the camera in that moment. You can share in their joy or in their pain. The emotion captured in a photo can touch our hearts.
