I am Jouk Oosterhof (b. 1973), a photographer based in Amsterdam. Fascinated by sublimating reality, my images often contain a subtle sense of humour. I carefully build the image, staging all details. Creating flattering and genuine portraits. Curtains, structures and prints are recurring ingredients in my work. My commercial, editorial and personal work has been nominated and awarded for several competitions.
