Kai M. Caemmerer lives and works in San Francisco, CA. His current work explores aspects of urban space and the perpetual development of cities. He earned his BA in photography from Western Washington University and his MFA in photography from Columbia College Chicago. He has received recognition and support from the Stuart R. Abelson Foundation, the People’s Government of Shangrao City, The Luminarts Foundation, and the Dave Bown Projects grant. His works will be included in the 2017 Photolucida Critical Mass exhibition, the 2017 Tokyo International Photography Festival, and were recently exhibited during the 2016 Singapore International Photography Festival, the 2016 Ground Floor Exhibition at the Hyde Park Art Center in Chicago, and the 2016 AIPAD Photography Show in New York.
