About Karel Prinsloo

Karel Prinsloo is an award winning Namibian photographer. He is also a World Press Photo Award winner.He has been working in the news industry for twenty five years in Africa and the Middle East. He lived in Kenya for ten years as the chief photographer for the Associated Press from where he ran their East Africa operation. Currently he is covering stories in Africa for numerous news outlets as well as doing humanitarian photography for NGO's in the region.
