My name is Katja Diroen, and besides being a mom of two and wife I am also a portrait photographer. I have been a photographer for 7 years now and still learning new things.
I have always been passionate about photography, but never went for it. Until I was fired from my job of 12,5 years, I picked up my camera and went back to school and just did it. In shool I realized portrait photography is what I love most, and close ups even more so. In all honestly, not every image I take is a winner, but I will never give up until I have a winner.
My work does not even come close to being perfect. But to me it does not have to be. It is more about what I see in the eyes of my clients. That one look or emotion is what makes me attract to an image. I can take 200 images of one person and still just love one or two, because they are real.
Photography is my hobby, my job and my passion.
