I was born in Blackpool (b. 1982), England. In 2015, I moved to The Netherlands where I am now based.
My practice is often emotive and reflective. I value the Art of the Project, where I can work within a framework that is essentially also limitless; and I undertook my master’s degree specifically with this in mind. I find the photography project an ideal medium for earnest representation of subject exploration where the inevitable blurring of subjectivity and objectivity, experience, and experiment can take its place, with a fusing of aesthetic and documentary.
BA Hons Photography (2007) and Master’s Degree in Photography (2012).
I have exhibited works across the UK since 2006, including being selected for The Royal Photographic Society International Print Exhibition 157.
