Fifty-five years ago I learned from a fellow college student how to develop black and white film and print my images. I have enjoyed trying to make better photographs since 1968, After a varied career in business pursuits, now that I am retired, it is the challenge and gratification that I get from photography that sustain me. I like to say "It keeps me off the streets....or maybe on them." More and more, as my skills and preferences mature, I value and almost require the presence of people in my photographs. The pursuit is never ending for me.
