Lāsma Poiša is Latvian lens-based artist, currently living and working in Manchester. Poiša’s practice uses methods of portraiture, self-portraiture and performance through both still and moving image. Poiša’s work has been exhibited in Brick Lane, London and in the exhibition From Common Differences as part of Diffusion: Cardiff International Festival of Photography. Her work was recently published in German Magazine, Nido. She has held a number of residencies, including in Photography at Swansea Metropolitan University and was Arts Outreach Coordinator at Locws International. Poiša currently works at University of Salford.
