About Liz Hickok

Liz Hickok is a San Francisco-based artist working with photography, video, sculpture, and installation. She received her MFA from Mills College, a BFA from the Museum School, and a BA from Tufts University.

Her work has been shown extensively at such venues as SFMOMA, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, The Center for Fine Art Photography, MASS MoCA Kidspace Gallery, the Pratt Manhattan Gallery, and the Susquehanna Art Museum.

Her public art projects include partnerships with UCSF, Mission Bay, Scottsdale Public Art, Headlands Center for the Arts, and Walnut Creek Downtown. Recent commissions include photo mural installations for Facebook and Google, and at the New Museum in Los Gatos. Her work is included in such collections as the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Blue Shield, the Federal Reserve of San Francisco, and Mills College Art Museum.

2019 will see Liz’s work installed at the Longview Museum of Fine Arts in Longview, TX for her solo show, Intimate Immensity.
