About Lorraine Castillo

I began photographing in college, only to stop when life and family responsibilities took center stage. After many years, I dusted off my old Nikon and set out to pick up where I left off.

Since then, I has participated in numerous juried exhibitions locally and nationally. I was awarded a Second Place from the Triton Museum of Art in Santa Clara, California, and a Merit Award from Black & White Magazine for their 2016 Portfolio publication. Recent juried exhibitions include the Triton Museum of Art and Rayko Photo Gallery in the San Francisco Bay Area, the Darkroom Gallery in Vermont and solo exhibits at the Viewpoint Gallery in Sacramento, and at the Domain in Oakland, California.

When I'm not photographing, I can be found in my back yard, attempting to tame it into a Garden of Eden, or hiking with the family dog.
