Lorraine Turi uses photography in her work to create photographic explorations that investigate the complex relationship between humans and the environment.
Turi has participated in solo and group exhibitions including Multiplicity, at the University of North Carolina Biennial Alumni Show in Charlotte and the Art Miami Art Fair, Lowe Gallery, Miami, FL. Recently Turi was published in the November 2017 issue of Lenscratch: The States Project and in Issue #4 of Photo Plane Magazine: Water, Water Everywhere. Turi received an MFA in Photo Based Media, from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina and a BFA form The University of North Carolina, Charlotte. Turi lives in North Carolina and teaches at Rowan Cabarrus Community College.
