Born in 1989, Lucía Peluffo graduated at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Industrial Design. Since she was 19 years old she started studying photography to balance her technical studies on design.
It was photography that allowed her to develop a practice that was in a way technical and at the same time artistic, finding the perfect balance for her.
The confrontation of her feelings with the things she saw everyday has always been part of her subjects.
She has participated in some collective exhibitions in the past 4 years and her work has been featured in the magazine Camera, at the section "Au fil de dos images".
She presented her book "We are one. We are two." in June 2016, and article on its release was published at the Argentinian newspaper, La Nación. Her works were also features at the taiwanese magazine Ming Weekly (August 2015).
Her book has been reviewed in websites such as Epiphanies (Francia), The Library Project (Photo Ireland), The Natural Collection (Photobook Club, England),and will soon appear at Self Publish Be Happy, The Virtual Bookshelf, from Josef Chladek, The PhotoBook from Douglas Stockdale, and Monovisions.
She is now nominated for the Francisco Ayerza Photography Award, organised by the Fine Art National Academy (Argentina), and participating with the nominees in an exhibition at the Eduardo Sivori Museum of Arts.
