About Margo Taussig Pinkerton

A professional photographer since 1982, Margo Taussig Pinkerton has traveled the world for travel, corporate, and editorial clients. Her stock images were regularly published in National Geographic Traveler, Caribbean Travel and Life, GEO, and a host of other journals. Margo also led photo adventures north of the Arctic Circle.

With dozens of exhibitions and awards spanning nearly four decades, Margo’s photographs are in museums, libraries, and private collections worldwide, including, but not limited to, the The Smithsonia, National Women's History Museum, Getty Center, ICP Library, Beinecke Archives at Yale University.

A longtime advocate for intellectual property rights, Margo has lectured widely to photographers, illustrators, and art buyers.

For a number of years now, Margo has run Barefoot Contessa Photo Adventures with her husband, fellow photographer Arnie Zann. They encourage their participants to "Seek your own vision, and create great photos!"
