Maria Elena Vecchio (b.1998) is a young photographer based in Rome. She’s currently in her final year of studies at the Academy of Fine Arts of Rome, where she’s been specializing in photography and lens based media. She is interested in documentary photography and in the relationship among images, media and journalism. Raised in the area around Viterbo, her work revolves around memory and landscape, often focusing on the story of her territory, linking its past heritage with our contemporary time.
