A newbie photographer a year and a half ago, I have immersed myself in photography classes. The biggest impact was taking a weekend workshop with Sam Abell at the Los Angeles Center for Photography. I was drawn to street photography but didn't know how to translate what I saw into a beautiful image and not simply a photograph. I hope I have put Mr. Abell's teaching to good use.
