I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1975. I work as an IP lawyer but photography has been my hobby and passion ever since I discovered it back in 2000. After starting to travel to NY in 2013 for work, often, and alone, I got interested in street photography and have since mainly dedicated to it.
My studies include courses on the history of the aesthetics of photography, black and white lab training, zone system, illumination and digital photography in Argentina with Ines Tanoira, Eduardo Gil, Diego Ortiz Mugica, Cruz Mendizabal, Santiago Carrera and Julieta Escardo. I also attended several workshops and day and night photo walks in Argentina, NY and London with Bruce Barnbaum, Edo Zollo, Gus Powell Charalampos Kydonakis (dirtyharrry) and David Gibson.
I have participated in a few exhibitions, such us the Museo en los Cerros (MEC) awards in 2012, the collective exhibitions "Dialogues" in the MEC in 2012 and "Common denominator" in the Centro Cultural Borges in Buenos Aires in 2013, the Francisco Ayerza stimulus awards in 2013 and 2015 in the Bellas Artes and Sivori museums of Buenos Aires and the Buenos Aires Photo exhibition in 2018 as part of the Zona de Photos Gallery.
I have won the first prize of the American Express awards within Buenos Aires Photo 2010, semifinalist in that same awards in 2011, a mention in the MEC 2012 awards, finalist in the 5th Edition del Julia Margaret Cameron Award 2013 in the fine art and landscape categories and finalist in the Francisco Ayerza stimulus awards in 2013 and 2015.
Since its opening in July 2015, I have been invited to offer my work in the art store "Quorum", located in San Telmo, Buenos Aires (www.tiendaquorum.com; www.instagram.com/tiendaquorum/?hl=es).
