Mark Lipczynski is a lens-based artist and working photographer in the suburbs of Phoenix, Arizona. His whole life has been influenced by a familial tradition of photographing the railroad, which began in northeastern Ohio where he's originally from.
Lipczynski took to photography at an early age, gleaning it from his dad and older brother through a shared love of watching and photographing trains together.
His work today is, above all, an expression of gratitude for everything the intersection of trains, family, and photography has provided him with in the way of a clear path in life.
He continues to actively pursue his passion for photographing the American railroad as a way to feel connected to family and his youth.
