I love photography because it helps you to see the world with greater clarity and intensity - and indeed the constant search for interesting, beautiful or powerful images enables you to see things that you would otherwise totally overlook. Photography enhances one's appreciation of life. I enjoy communicating in black and white because the clarity of this medium reveals the key elements of a moment. These photographs are among my favourites because they speak to me. I hope they speak to others.
