Michael Jurek is a German fine art photographer based near Hanover. What began more than fifteen years ago as a personal passion for art and photography has, over the past three years, evolved into a full-time artistic practice.
Driven by a fascination with art, architecture, and photography, he has developed his distinctive visual language through observation, curiosity, and a continuous search for new perspectives and photographic techniques.
His work explores the beauty of architecture and nature through minimalist and abstract compositions. In an increasingly fast-paced world, his photographs invite viewers to slow down, embrace stillness, and rediscover the beauty of simplicity. Symmetry, abstraction, and reduction are the defining principles of his artistic approach, transforming familiar subjects into timeless visual compositions that transcend their documentary origins.
His work has been recognized in several prestigious international photography competitions.
