Originally from Oklahoma, Brandon moved to Minneapolis to obtain her BFA from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and later completed her MFA at the University of Minnesota in 2014.
Since then, Brandon has received a Jerome Emerging Artist Fellowship and Tulsa Artist Fellowship, has exhibited work in solo and group shows both locally and nationally, and has been featured by Audubon magazine. Currently, Brandon is creating new work, examining: biodiversity, ecosystem flux and acceptance, animal representation, the agency of objects within an anthropogenic landscape, and how the internet intervenes in our experience with the “natural” world.
