Although not restricted by any specific genre or medium, his approach is more inclined towards street photography and documentary photography.
Through the lens of documentary photography, he tries to portray the hidden and forgotten beauties of Bengal.Through his works, Raha tries to emphasize the fact that - "Beauty lies in Simplicity." His works mostly include different rituals, cultures, traditions of people from Bengal.
In 2023, Raha was a recipient of the 'Silver Medal Award' & 'Honourable Mention' Award in the prestigious - 'Paris Street Photo Awards' competition.
Raha was also a quarter finalist in the esteemed - 'Urban Photo Awards under 35' photo contest.
Moreover, Raha's works have been featured and exhibited in many global and eminent platforms such as - 'Nat Geo Traveller India', 'Photovogue', 'Trieste Photo Days' and a few local exhibitions in Kolkata as well.
Any kind of visual Art, works as an escape tunnel from the harsh realities of the real world for him and provides a sacred space for his soul to seek refuge while emerging into the vast ocean of solitude.
As an artist, he also holds a deep passion for creative writings and digital illustrations as well.
