Nacho Rivera is a Spanish photographer who develops long-term personal projects, as links in a chain that return again and again to the same question: what happens when you look carefully at something you would otherwise walk past?
Each photograph finds its final form by hand, as a silver gelatin print, not out of nostalgia, but because the process demands the same sustained attention as the looking itself.
That attention also carries into every editorial and commercial commission, across portraiture, interiors and documentary. His work appears in leading international publications and books, and has been exhibited at museums, galleries and international photography festivals in Europe and the UK.
