In 2010, I visited my local Art gallery in Birmingham. They were showing a retrospective of Steve McCurry. I believe I returned a further 4 times as I found it so interesting and inspiring.
I had graduated with a degree in Fine Art Four years earlier, however I found it hard at times to maintain an active involvement, or point myself in any direction.
I already had an interest in photography, but from this point I decided I would make it my intention to pursue photography, to make images and to explore this world with a camera.
