Ohad Matalon (b. 1972 Kibbutz Eilot, Israel) received an MFA in Art from Bezalel Academy of Art in Jerusalem in 2007, and a BFA in Photography with an excellently award from Bezalel in 2001.
Selected solo exhibitions include: Photo Op at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art (2015); The Zone at Podbielski Contemporary Gallery in Berlin, Germany (2012); North True South Bright at Contemporary by Golconda Gallery in Tel Aviv, Israel (2010); Today at the Herzliya Biennial of Art, Israel (2009); "E" at the Haifa Museum of Art , Haifa, Israel (2005); and Untitled exhibition at Dvir Gallery in Tel Aviv, Israel (2001).
Ohad Matalon's works are in various collections such as Tel-Aviv Museum of Art collection, Israel Museum collection, Israel's parliament collection, Pkb Private Bank Switzerland Collection, BNP Paribas Bank collection and many more. Matalon won many prizes, among them, Israeli Minister of culture award, BNL-BNP Paribas-Award, best work at MIA (Milan Image Art) Fair, and many more.
