About PABLO NICOLAS DAVONIS

Born in Buenos Aires Argentina in 1960 and of Greek descent I cannot hide theater and drama in my genetics.
A single source of light in my frames simply reaffirms that drama in the images. Restless and self-taught, I find myself in a column behind the school, the photographs and wonders of Anne Marie Heinrich, a body, a light and a reflection.
I collect and hang original works by Pedro Luis Raota on my walls, while I read and study Christa Meola's boudoir photography techniques.
Diving into the sea of conceptual photography, I play in complicity with rhetorical figures, but I remain trapped in my own heritage within the Oxymorons.
With independent projects as a conceptual creative, photography becomes an excuse. During the 2020/2021 pandemic, in the solitude of my studio, I was my own model. I have been summoned during the month of October 2022 for the Night of the Museums at the Palacio Barolo, exhibiting a series of 18 portraits and artistic nudes. During the same month, Caras Magazine made me a report on Pablo Davonis, from concept to image. By December of the same year, I was summoned again by Modo Arte in Bajos del Barolo, presented for the first time FRIDA THE OTHER STORY, as a photographic series redefining the figure of Frida Kahlo from photography with the interpretation of the actress Rowena Prieto. FRIDA THE OTHER STORY, was a full color page in Caras Magazine for the month of December 2022.
