Paolo Morales is a photographer who was born and raised in New York City and currently lives in Virginia. His documentary-style photographs describe individuals who seek to take care of each other in the face of shared adversity. Recent exhibitions include Hamiltonian Gallery, Chris White Gallery, New York Asian Film Festival, George Washington University, Capital One Bank Headquarters, and Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art. His work has been published in VICE Magazine and The Washington Post. Residencies include Philadelphia Photo Arts Center and Blue Mountain Center. Morales received an MFA from Rhode Island School of Design, attended Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, and is Visiting Assistant Professor of Art at Hollins University.
