Patty Carroll has been known for her use of highly intense, saturated color photographs since the 1970’s. Her background is in graphic design and has taught photography for many years at the college level. Her latest monograph, "Anonymous Women"was published by Daylight Books in 2017. Previous photographic books have included; "Man Bites Dog: A Cultural History of the American Hot Dog," "Spirited Visions," and "Living the Life: Elvis Tribute Artists." Her most recent one person museum exhibition was "Still/Life" at the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art in Kansas City, MO.
