Born in The Netherlands and raised in Australia, I am a mainly self-taught photographer with a passion for capturing the way I see life unfolding on this spectacularly diverse, at times bizarre planet we live on.
My interest in photography was kick-started early as a result of having had the privilege of travelling from a young age. Since then I have explored - and still dabble in - various styles, however street photography (without any specific definition) has been my emphasis since 2015.
My street photography focuses on combining aspects of culture, history, architecture, symmetry and the human condition. There’s no shortage of unique combinations and variety of human behaviour.
While capturing society in all its curious forms, as I see it, is a life-long project, I am looking to evolve into more specific short-term projects as well as increase my exposure.
