Her photographic work explores female self-representation through color and production design. She works with set design to recreate and represent the intimate aesthetics of the border and northern Mexico.
With her most recent photographic series "Itinerario de una mujer en la frontera" she was part of the exhibition organized by Vasa Project called "Magic Realisim. Latinas en México" curated by Ximena Echague and Fernanda Pineda and with this same series she won the 15th Pollux Awards in Barcelona, in the self-portrait category in the individual image section. Two other photographs from "Itinerario de una mujer en la frontera" receive an honorable mention in the same category also wins first place at the IPA (International photography awards) - in the self-portrait sub-category.
