About Prem Sarjo

I live in Santiago and work between Chile and Europe. I studied architecture at the Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, engraving at Taller 99 and Arts at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Santiago. I am an artist and researcher, I have lived in Mexico, the United States and Europe. I have created alternative projects such as Casa Doce in Mexico City, DiEnd, GAC and Ejercicios Mosqueto in Santiago. I am the founder of Ejercicios Mosqueto and since 2012 associated curator of the Venice International Performance Art Week. I have worked with photography, painting, graphics, sculpture, installation, performance and video. I have exhibited my work in Chile, Argentina, Mexico, Canada, USA, France, Italy, Germany, Poland, United Kingdom, Holland and Japan.

I participated in Fotoseptiembre Mexico 2011 and I am preparing the publication of my first photo book.
