/Have you ever felt the dizziness of thinking on the greatness of the natural world around us?. That place where we belong and at the same time, splitting ourselves, we look from the outside?. How can we see all at once the action in the immobility?, the constant change in what, however, remains?, what is here and now and nevertheless we fell linked to the past?/
In this work I explore the line of friction between human being and nature from the point of view of our different temporal circumntances.
“Man has no nature, only history” said Ortega y Gasset, and in this concept I have based my research: as well as nature is not aware of its past, present or future, we are trapped in history, in the before and after, in the happening of events. However, this no-time of nature and this historical time are somehow fragilely connected by our own condition as natural beings.
In Myrias I look for a different way of write the story about this contradictory connection, using for it a poetic visual language that let me get closer to the object of study, trying to find traces of a mobile nature and of the eternal in us.
