It’s always exciting to discover new places, to take a walk in absolutely unknown streets, commute with local public transport, observe people, sight local architecture, spot out dynamic street scenes and explore some unique colours of light.
Rome is one of the world’s most popular tourist destination places. This is the city which has been photographed by numerous photographers already and millions of people visiting Rome still take millions of memory photos every single day.
I’ve tried to capture every place I have visited and deflected it from my own perspective. I’ve tried to show Rome a bit differently, from my personal angle, documenting scenes that I found interesting.
Mostly light and colours drive me to take out my camera and catch spontaneous moments I witness.
I call it distinct moments when you grasp that the light, people and objects start moving the way you wished them to without any planning or intervening. This special atmosphere creates unexplained intimacy and emotional connection between you, people and the environment.
You become part of the site catching some natural moments taking place on its own, which you should hook. The street is the place where you can never know what to expect to discover.
