I try to capture unplanned interesting moments in time as they occur spontaneously in public spaces. In my opinion, the subject, composition, light and the story I'm trying to tell is way more important than image quality. Using techniques I'v gathered over the last 30 years, a small camera and wide-angle lens enables me to get nice and close to my subjects. The advantage of the wide angle gives the viewer a sense of being there in the moment. When I hit the streets I have no preconceptions, the process is based on seeing and reacting. I walk, I watch, I wait, then walk and watch some more.
