I have an interest in unfamiliar space. While the space remains as it is, objects and backgrounds in it have always changed. What cause the changes of the objects and backgrounds in the space? With that in mind, I have always looked into the space. � �Throughout the history, there has always been a driving force that initiates the changes. Depending on the main agent, the space has been changing and developing differently. ��Busan has spearheaded the modernization of Korea. Following the Korean War, Busan was the hub of people’s lives as well as the space and base for lives. Five decades later, the image of the space and base for livelihood has gone. It seems that the city has been transformed into a filming site for modern dramas. � �With the rise of capital as the driving force in the space, the space is a place for consumption rather than life. In a space, where the capital holds hegemony, everything objectifies itself to be consumed. We are in a huge show window.
